The Bell Experiment and the EPR Paradox
The Bell experiment and the associated proof of the violation of Bell's or CHSH inequality represent the central element in many discussions surrounding the epistemological aspects of quantum mechanics. Mystical entangled states, the existence of a non-local reality, the disappearance of determinism in quantum mechanics – all of these find their echo here.
To counter the multitude of metaphysical and mystical considerations emerging especially on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of quantum mechanics, I decided to present my perspective in a manuscript that does better justice to the rational character of physics. I hereby submit the manuscript for discussion and recommend that visitors to this website read it before engaging with the Bell experiment.
It contains aspects for both the interested layperson and the physics expert that I have not yet found presented this way in literature, new media, or even specialized textbooks. The interactive experiment itself is consistently based on the mathematics of the manuscript.
1. The Manuscript
Read the complete, rigorous derivation and discussion in PDF format. Highly recommended as theoretical preparation.
2. The Interactive Experiment
Switch directly to the simulation and calculation page, which consistently aligns with the mathematics of the manuscript.
